Hasselback Mends Relationship with Rosie O Donald
After the big spat on national TV last week, Rosie O Donald decided to quit The View early. It was a bit shocking as her contract was ending in 3 weeks' time. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the co-host of The View, with whom Rosie O Donald had the fight with, spent her Memorial Day weekend trying to patch things up with O Donald.
Shortly after the incident, Rosie had said that she didn't think she & Hasselbeck would ever speak again. Then during the Monday show of The View, Hasselbeck mentioned that she & Rosie were "in communcation a lot", meaning they were still on speaking terms but she didn't say what sort of communcation took place, whether it was a phone call or they met person or they emailed. The main focus of their "conversation" according to Hasselback involved the subject of "the power of forgiveness". She further said that they have begun the process (forgiving) and have moved on in a positive way.
However, according to Rosie, that's not exactly what happened. O Donald concurs that after the argument, Hasselbeck did call, but instead of talking to Rosie, Hasselbeck had talk to Rosie's partner Kelli. O Donald further adds that she probably wouldn't talk to Hasselbeck again but the two did exchange emails. Meanwhile, The View's show creator Barbara Walters said she too, has been emailing Rosie because she says they remain close friends. Barbara added that O Donald is welcome back on The View any time.
